Join us on a three-part journey to embrace balance and vitality in every breath and movement, while combining various styles of Qi Gong. This class offers an active introduction to a somatic movement style, supporting your own interoception by engaging with physical, mental, and emotional health. Explore the foundational movements, delve into the rich history, and enjoy 40 minutes of reconnection and fun.

Engage in fluid, water-like movements that gently open the joints and release tension, accompanied by seven levels of synchronized breathing, each infused with its own unique story. Experience a profound sense of connection and inner knowing as you move through these practices.

In Qi Gong, it's not about how you appear or the perfection of your movements; it's about how you feel within them. Initially, observe the movements, but soon you'll find yourself connecting with them on a deeper level, making them your own. It's not about striving to master a technique; instead, it's about embracing the journey of self-discovery and continuous learning.

Leave with a fresh perspective and newfound knowledge to apply directly to your activities of daily living, ready to embark on your personal journey to well-being.

A note from Dr Holly P Battrum DACM, L.Ac.

At a young age, I discovered the transformative power of Eastern Medicine when it helped me overcome lung concerns, propelling me toward my dreams as a young athlete. Years later, I faced a pivotal choice: How could I best serve and heal my community? The answer was crystal clear—Eastern Medicine.

As an Eastern Medicine doctor, I’ve had the privilege of positively impacting my community through integrative health choices. My journey began after seven years of nurturing creativity and leadership in theatre costume design, when In 2012 I made the life-altering decision to merge my love for art and science in the field of Acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine (TEAM).

TEAM had profoundly healed me, and now I have the honor of using it to help others. With a Masters of Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University and a Doctorate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, both with honors, I bring the highest level of expertise to my patients.

I hold national certification in the USA and I am a licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Eastern Medicine. Beyond my academic achievements, I’m also an NLP/Wellness coach with many additional specialities and trainings. I am dedicated to bringing my best self to my patients and colleagues every day.

While my “life list” is extensive, I find immense joy in travel, connecting with friends, mastering the bongos, practicing yoga & Qi Gong, delving into Swedish language studies, and savoring the rhythms of salsa dancing. And, of course, I’m a devoted dog mom and take great pleasure in the ongoing adventure of remodeling our 1920s home.

Join me on this journey of holistic healing, where art, science, and compassion converge to create a healthier, happier community. Let’s explore the profound possibilities of Eastern Medicine together! 🌟
