Reiki Level I

Reiki, a form of energy healing, is an ancient practice that is used to reduce stress, improve health and quality of life, and support physical and emotional healing. Research suggests that using Reiki as a complementary therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system to heal body and mind via the relaxation response. Reiki is accessible to everyone and is easy to learn. 

After receiving the Reiki 1 certificate, participants will be able to perform self-treatments and provide treatments for others. Generally, Reiki providers do not begin practicing professionally until they have received the second degree.

As I began my own healing journey years ago, I discovered a light that shines brightly within each of us. I am a certified Reiki Master and have studied and practiced under many teachers and mentors over the years. I have also become proficient in a wide range of holistic healing methods, including various yoga and meditation practices and techniques. Aside from my interest in energy medicine and holistic-based practices, I am an EMT with a science degree. This has enabled me to become a well-rounded practitioner and allows me to see things from multiple perspectives, which offers real benefits for those who are on their own healing journey.
