a new chapter, a dream realized

Hi Friends, It’s with a full heart and a deep breath that I share this news:
The Sundry’s current location will be closing on June 28th. While this marks the end of a beautiful chapter, it also signals the beginning of an exciting new one!

Starting June 1st, I will officially become half owner of Tea Market, the beloved tea shop nestled in the heart of Crestwood—and with that, Stacie (Tea Market’s founder) and I are launching our next big collaboration: Tea Market & Gift Bar.
More on this soon, but for now know that
all of your favorite Sundry goods—self-care staples, ritual tools, and intentional gifts—will live on inside this charming, and historic location.

Stacie and I have been collaborating for the last couple of years—on websites, product development, and events. We share a deep respect for self-care, ritual, and community—and this new concept is a natural extension of that shared vision. Together, we’re creating a space that celebrates wellness, connection, and meaningful gifting.
This is more than a business milestone—it’s a dream realized.
My husband and I lived just a few blocks from Tea Market when we were first married.

We’d sit on the patio at Aixois with our babies, listening to live music in the summer, soaking in the magic of the neighborhood. I've dreamed of owning a shop since I was a child—and for over a decade, I’ve envisioned it being in Crestwood.
I just adore this little pocket of Kansas City and I can't wait to share it with you!
And while The Sundry’s physical space is winding down, the events we all love are not. You can now bring The Sundry to you—for private gatherings, sound baths, guided meditations, tea tastings, and more all hosted from your favorite locations.
I’m keeping all my favorite event creature comforts and cant wait to create warm, meaningful experiences in beautiful new places!

And in the meantime—there’s still time to visit! We’ve got a calendar full of events between now and the end of June. So if you’ve been following along and always meant to make it to something in this magical little space—now’s your chance!
Over the last three years, The Sundry has been more than a business—it’s been my sanctuary. In this quiet haven, I’ve burned incense, played cello music, and slowly, gently, healed my nervous system. This little space held me while I found my footing again.
But I’m not the same woman who opened The Sundry three years ago. I’ve grown, stretched, softened, and risen. And now it’s time for this chapter to gently close, making space for what’s next—a new expression of the same heart, just a few miles away.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me—for showing up, for supporting The Sundry, and for holding space as it grew and evolved. I close this chapter with such joy and love in my heart for the entire experience, especially for all of you!
These days, I’m spending Mondays and Tuesdays at Tea Market in Crestwood. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d love for you to stop by and say hi!
With love and gratitude,
Jess
